Conference Speakers Bios

Pam Sims and her husband Jim make their home in Conway where Pam serves on staff at Second Baptist Church.  She has written a book titled “Making Designing Women out of Desperate Housewives (a study on Proverbs 31).  Pam loves to sing and is passionate about music as a vital part of worship.  She is active in the Women’s Ministry of Second Baptist Church and loves to see women using the gifts God has given them to become all God wants them to be. 
Session Topic- The Hidden Treasure -“ What Satan Does Not Want You to Find”
Sue Riner and her husband David they are the proud parents of seven grown children , nineteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  She received her Women’s Ministry Leadership Certificate from Southwestern Theological Seminary in 2007 and for several years served as the Women’s Ministry Leader at Second Baptist.  She is active in several ministries within the church.  She has been a guest speaker throughout the state in Women’s Conferences.  Her passion is to help women know and experience the love of Jesus and to discover their true identity in Him.
Session Topic – What are You Thinking- “Change Your Life by Changing Your Thoughts”
Marilyn Mathis wears many "hats"--wife of Jerry for 51 years and counting; mother of Todd; Nana to Wes and Maegan, her grandchildren; The first Wednesday of every month she leads a group of approximately  120 ladies during the Ladies Lunch Break where she has been the  teaching leader for 22 years. Marilyn is also retreat speaker; faith writer for 501 Life Magazine; and always a student of God's Word.
SESSION  TOPIC- “X” Mark’s the Spot—“Gems of truth are found in the Bible, but you must dig for them”
Kendis Chenoweth personifies the word passion.  She is passionate about her husband of 18 years, Kevin and their two wonders-of-God’s-grace, son, Parker and daughter, Kensington.  She is also passionate about Jesus Christ and inspiring women to pursue Him and discover His personal love, compassion and guidance in every aspect of their lives.  Kendis has been speaking and teaching women across the country since 1998 and has served on the Missouri Baptist Marriage Ministry Team with her husband, and also the Missouri Baptist Pastor’s and Wives’ Ministry Team.
Session Topic-  “Choose Life—Choose Jesus”
Donna Seal is a licensed Psychotherapist and a Board Certified Christian Counselor.  In addition to her private practice she is also a corporate consultant and leads various seminars.  After 40 years of marriage to her husband, Jim, they relocated to Conway, Arkansas where their two adult children and two precious grandchildren live.  Whether she is working with individuals or groups in the private sector or church ministry Donna is passionate about making a difference.  She believes that through Christ we can have abundant life and she considers it a blessing to walk beside others on this journey.
